Period: 1 October 2004 to 30 November 2004 (#1)

1. There have been some complaints from some of the Society’s honorary
members who have been invoiced and requested to pay membership fees.

Answer: Query 1

The SASP Head Office sincerely apologises to all honorary members who received
inaccurate invoices, requesting the payment of membership fees. This error is
being rectified, and the database containing our honored members is being updated
to avoid the recurrence of this problem.

2. Complaints regarding incorrect invoicing for the Special membership categories.

Answer: Query 2

Members are reminded that they are invoiced according to the selected categories
they indicated prior to re-registration. Any changes made in the selection of
membership categories, can only be made on receipt of the re-registration form
indicating these changes. Members are then re-invoiced according to the category
changes made. SASP Head Office does however acknowledge that a single invoicing
system would be less confusing and beneficial, and is currently looking into
the possibities of implementing such a system.

are given on page 3 of the application form. The fees payable for this category
include the entrance fee plus the fee stated for special membership i.e. (R250+R945=

5. Complaints by newly qualified physiotherapist who are still being invoiced
as fourth year students.

Answer; Query 5

As in query number 2, newly qualified physiotherapists are reminded that they

membership after qualifying, they will then be re-invoiced according to the
